Our hamburger plate holds the same 650ml in an 18 x 19cm footprint if space is tight. The suction base grips best on smooth, non-porous surfaces — glass, sealed high chair trays, laminate and plastic. On bare or textured wood it will still hold, just not as firmly, so it's worth knowing what your high chair is made of. The sections are open at the top, as on all our plates. Very runny food will find its way between compartments if the plate is tilted.
