In fact, up to 99% of the solvent is captured and reused, minimizing the environmental impact compared to conventional viscose manufacturing. Bamboo is a fast-growing, renewable resource. The plant, classified as grass, can grow up to 35 inches (around 90 cm) in just one day! To create the fabric, bamboo is crushed into pulp, and its natural fibers are then extracted and spun into yarn.
