Sillites SCRW 2" Self-Contained Receptacle – White with Matching Cover The Sillites SCRW is a compact 2" round self-contained receptacle designed to provide convenient power without the bulky appearance of a traditional electrical outlet. Its clean, nearly flush design makes it an excellent choice for window sills, mantels, kitchen islands, cabinets, backsplashes, baseboards, built-ins, and other locations where a discreet power solution is preferred. Finished in white, the SCRW includes a matching cover that can be painted to coordinate with the surrounding surface for an even more seamless installation. The 15-amp, 125-volt receptacle features tamper-resistant sockets and can be used on 15-amp circuits or qualifying 20-amp circuits. Two Installation Methods The SCRW is designed for installation in a variety of solid surfaces and does not require a traditional electrical junction box. 1. Wood Installation: Secure the receptacle directly to the wood surface using the included two #6 mounting screws. 2. Stone, Tile & Other Solid Surfaces: The receptacle can be secured using its swing-out mounting wings. Insert the assembled receptacle into a 1-3/4" diameter hole, then tighten the face screws to draw the wings forward and securely clamp the receptacle to the surface. This versatile mounting system makes the SCRW an excellent option for wood, tile, stone, solid-surface countertops, cabinetry, and similar applications. Easy Wiring & Daisy-Chaining The SCRW accepts 12/2 or 14/2 NM cable and accommodates one or two sections of cable, making it easy to continue the circuit to another receptacle in a daisy-chain configuration. Copper or copper-clad wire should be used with the device. The removable side doors provide access to the contact screws for wiring and then reinstall to secure the cable and protect the terminal connections.
