Silva Exceed 4XT Headlamp Sixty hours of burn time on a single charge puts the Silva Exceed 4XT in a category of its own, and it's the headlamp to reach for when duration, versatility, and maximum output all need to show up at once. The 4XT carries the same 2000 lumen output with 2300 lumen boost mode, Intelligent Light, and Flow Light tilt-beam adjustment as the rest of the Exceed lineup. What sets it apart is the 10.5Ah battery, the largest in Silva's range, which delivers 12 hours on maximum and an exceptional 60 hours on minimum. For mountain bikers, ski tourers, and multi-day adventurers covering serious ground in the Canadian backcountry, that capacity removes battery anxiety from the equation entirely. The battery is sized for backpack or pocket carry via the included extension cord rather than headband mounting, keeping weight off your head during long efforts. A Velcro strap mounts it directly to a bike frame for cyclists who prefer that setup. The modular accessory kit covers helmet and handlebar mounting alongside the standard headband configuration. The bar mount features a quick-lock mechanism and fits handlebars from 22 to 35 mm, making the 4XT a serious option as a dedicated mountain bike light that doubles as a headlamp. Super-low mode at 80 lumens conserves power on easier terrain, and reserve mode guarantees 30 minutes of light when the battery runs low regardless of conditions.
