On clear, still evenings along the shores of Lake Superior, there is a moment when the sky and the water appear to become one. The horizon becomes nearly indistinguishable as the l ake’s gently undulating surface reflects the silvery hues of the early stages of twilight. This painting is inspired by that fleeting moment of beauty. The original piece is created with watercolor, graphite, and soft pastel on 100% cotton paper, mounted on a cradled birch wood panel and set in a handmade solid maple float frame.
