Next round starts 28th April. You will be directed to The Makers’ House website to book your space when you click ‘Buy Now’. Or you can purchase via Apple Pay. You are booking for the next round of workshops which starts on Monday 28th April. The 2.5hr weekly workshop lasts for 5 weeks and costs £165. This includes your initial 7g pack of clay. You can buy extra clay (£15) and findings on a pay-as-you-go basis; you will need approx 3 packs for the course depending on the size of the pieces you make. The course is self led project based so you decide what you’d like to make (this will likely be different to your neighbour) and I am there to help facilitate that. Every session I will show you a different skill to help increase your knowledge of how to use the clay. Topics can include: texturing, shaping, cutting, layering, coiling, quilling, stone setting, rings, earrings, moulds, Keum boo, copper, 3d design (box frames, lentil beads and bird houses), hinges & lockets, syringing, enamelling. Please note not all topics can be covered within the 5 weeks and are examples of what can be shown.
