I am a Silver Teapot. I can always squiggle my way out of hot water. Curator's Notes With it's gleaming copper handle and silver overglaze, this teapot really stands out as a sculp tural, almost decorative piece but the beauty is that it is fully functional as a teapot or kettle that can be heated under a flame. We especially have fond memories of this teapot as it is the teapot Masanobu Ando used to perform a tea ceremony demonstration during the exhibition Shaping the Void. Can be used on a gas stovetop or portable teapot warmer Hand wash Wipe with a cloth and dry well after use Each piece is uniquely handcrafted and will have variations Copper handle will oxidize to develop a patina over time Do not dish wash Do not microwave Show more
