These unique jumbo decorative rods are made with a very skinny compressed wheat semolina filling to keep the integrity of the gorgeous shape, then coated in pressed sugar and then a candy coating. The metallic dragées contain silver colour classified as edible in Canada, Europe and most other countries, but not yet approved by the FDA (USA).
