[Apophenia] - the same instinct that finds shapes in clouds. A warning in a dream that was really just a dream. 11:11 on the clock. A song lyric hitting at the precise moment it ap plies to your situation. Thinking of someone right before they call or message you... Nothing is designed to mean anything on its own. It's the mind refusing to accept that anything is truly random - scanning noise for signal, whether or not one exists. Apophenia - a real psychology term for finding meaningful connections in random things - the brain reacting to something that isn't actually there. Meaning and its illusion feel identical from the inside. Green tourmaline - worn as a stone of grounding, renewal, and release. Fitting, for a piece about a mind that's always looking for the next sign. Material: Silver 925 Stone: Green Tourmaline Chain: length 75 cm; stainless steel Edition: "Nephomancy" series. Available only 1 piece per stone. Show more
