I am a Silver Teaspoon. Like a spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down, a spoon glazed in silver turns the worst day around. Curator's Notes With the qualities of a special piece passed down through generations, this little teaspoon appears to be antique silver, but is in fact made of ceramic with a metallic overglaze. The spoon was shaped by hand so there is that particular tenderness to its shape that can only come from the human touch. Its petite size is ideal for measuring out salt and sugar, or to stir a short cup of espresso.
