Handmade in our Orkney Islands workshop, these double oval labradorite drop earrings have a simple yet ethereal feel - two iridescent stones suspended in perfect harmony. Crafted using eco-friendly recycled sterling silver and set with natural cabochon labradorites that catch the light beautifully with every movement, shifting from deep grey to flashes of electric blue. Labradorite has a special connection to Orkney. Centuries ago, ships sailing from Canada used the stone as ballast on their voyages across the Atlantic - and when they arrived in Orkney, the ballast was unloaded onto the shore, leaving labradorite scattered along the Stromness coastline. It is a stone that has travelled far, and carries the spirit of the sea with it. These earrings pair beautifully with the pendants and rings in our Labradorite Collection.
