The Pretorian Simple Switch Interface provides a simple and cost-effective way to connect up to two wired assistive switches to a computer. It allows the switches to operate commonly used keyboard, mouse or gamepad commands, providing access to a wide range of compatible assistive technology software. Four operating modes are available, allowing the two connected switches to produce Space and Enter, left and right mouse clicks, F7 and F8, or Gamepad 1 and 2 commands. This makes the interface suitable for switch activities, computer access and compatible software including Clicker† and The Grid†. The selected mode is stored in the interface’s internal memory, so it remains set even when the computer is turned off or the interface is disconnected. No driver software is required, making installation particularly straightforward on computers managed by schools, colleges, healthcare organisations or IT departments.
