With this device you can bring uncompressed Dolby+/Atmos audio from your display back to the source/rack up to 50m/164ft. You can use it in ARC or eARC mode. The EXeARC1 supports HDR10+ and DolbyVision™ as well as the entire HDMI 2.0b standard. It also supports Bidirectional Infrared control, RS232, together with the 18Gbps HDMI 2.0b signal. Primary Use: Extending HDMI AV signals along with control, and eARC return from display over a single Category cable. *Cat5e may be used, but some loss of distance may occur.
