All mills have an adjustable ceramic CrushGrind mechanism which is designed to work with salt, pepper and other whole spices. Like our bowls, each spice mill is hand-turned. The mechanism used in these mills are the Crush Grind brand imported from Denmark. The ceramic two stage fully adjustable grinding mechanism carries a 25 year warranty against any defects and is capable of easily grinding salt, pepper and any other spice combinations.
