The Simpson Apex Kart Jacket was designed specifically for karting and quarter midgets. The ripstop CarbonX® sleeve provides heat protection and reinforcement in an area that is prone to heat and stress. The tuck flap keeps the kart jacket from riding up when racing, but still looks great out of the kart. The jacket is manufactured from 500 denier material and is not fire retardant.
