The SimXPro X80 is a versatile 40 × 80 mm aluminium-profile sim racing cockpit for drivers who want more adjustment freedom, a wider driving position and a platform that can grow with their hardware. Compared with the R80, the X80 provides more room around the wheelbase, pedals and seat while retaining the modularity of a full aluminium-profile cockpit. Available in industrial black powder coating or anodised silver, the X80 combines a clean professional finish with a rigid, open-profile construction that is easy to configure, expand and upgrade over time. Rigid, Adjustable and Built to Evolve The X80 is constructed from high-density European aluminium profiles with a 40 × 80 mm main-frame architecture. Full-length profile slots make it easy to reposition components and accessories without locking the cockpit into one fixed configuration. The wheelbase position can be adjusted in height, angle and reach, while the pedal position can be tuned for height, reach and tilt. This makes the X80 suitable both as a first serious cockpit and as the long-term core of a simulator that will develop through several hardware upgrades. 40 × 80 mm aluminium-profile construction Approx. 125 × 64 × 75 cm cockpit dimensions, excluding the seat 58 cm inner width between the upright profiles Approx. 32 kg cockpit weight Recommended direct-drive wheelbase torque up to 14 Nm Recommended pedal force up to 150 kg Selectable Standard Pedal Deck or Profile Pedal Deck Maximum recommended user: approx. 120 kg / 2.00 m Industrial black powder-coated or anodised silver finish Modular design compatible with SimXPro mounts and accessories Wheelbase Mounting: Standard Flat Mount + Optional Front Mount The X80 includes the SimXPro Universal Wheeldeck as standard. This is the flat universal wheel mount for compatible wheelbases that use an underside mounting pattern, including many popular models from Fanatec, MOZA Racing, Thrustmaster, Logitech G, SIMAGIC and other leading sim racing manufacturers. If your wheelbase requires or benefits from front mounting, the X80 can also be fitted with a separately purchased front-mount solution. Compatible options include the SimXPro Universal DD Front Mount and selected brand-specific front-mount or side-to-front-mount solutions. These are optional upgrades and are not included with the standard X80. The recommended wheelbase torque for the X80 cockpit is up to 14 Nm. A wheelbase can be mechanically compatible with a mounting solution while producing more torque than the recommended cockpit rating, so always distinguish mounting compatibility from the recommended operating range. Choose the Right Pedal Deck The X80 is available with two pedal mounting configurations. The Standard Pedal Deck is a solid and practical choice for many common pedal sets, including popular models from Fanatec, Thrustmaster, Logitech and MOZA Racing. Choose the Profile Pedal Deck when using stronger load-cell or hydraulic pedals, when broader mounting compatibility is required or when maximum adjustment freedom is the priority. Its aluminium-profile construction provides greater rigidity and more flexibility to configure pedal position, reach and angle. The X80 is recommended for pedal forces up to 150 kg. Seat Compatibility and Driving Position The X80 is compatible with all SimXPro sim racing seats when used with the appropriate mounting hardware, as well as a wide range of third-party sim racing and motorsport seats. Side-mounted bucket seats can be installed with the SimXPro Universal Seat Mount. A compatible seat slider can be added where required to make forward and backward adjustment easier or to share the cockpit between different drivers. Shifter, Handbrake and Display Upgrades A shifter mounting profile is not included as standard with the X80. The optional Simple Shifter Profile Mount or Extended Shifter Profile Mount can be positioned through the aluminium-profile slot system and provide a flexible base for most common shifters and handbrakes. For a single-screen setup, the X80 is compatible with the SimXPro Basic Single Integrated Monitor Mount for R80/X80. For an integrated triple-screen configuration, choose the SimXPro Integrated Triple Screen Setup Heavy. Suitable freestanding monitor stands can also be used independently of the cockpit. Choose the X80 if you want a highly adjustable aluminium-profile cockpit with more positioning freedom than the R80, a selectable pedal deck and a broader wheel-mount upgrade path. It is particularly well suited to drivers who expect their simulator to grow and want a frame that can be reconfigured as wheelbase, pedals, seating, display setup or accessories change.
