RARE/2HAND VINYL LP ON REPRISE 1969 Reprise RS 6333 made in Germany. Vinyl VG+. Cover VG+. This was the first album Nancy Sinatra made after ending her professional relationship with producer/Svengali Lee Hazlewood. Perhaps as a result it's a total departure from her earlier work and all over the stylistic map. There are sentimental ballads performed with solo guitar ("My Dad, My Pa"), country songs ("Here We Go Again"), pre-rock pop standards ("Old Devil Moon"), a cover of Dusty Springfield's "Son of a Preacher Man," a minimalist version of a blues classic ("Big Boss Man," slowed to an absolutely glacial tempo), and even a big orchestral assault on the Doors "Light My Fire." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nancy_Sinatra Tracklist God Knows I Love You 3:07 Memories 3:40 Just Bein' Plain Old Me 3:35 Here We Go Again 3:05 My Dad (My Pa) 2:34 Light My Fire 3:05 Big Boss Man 5:00 My Mother's Finest 3:26 I'm Just In Love 3:22 Son-Of-A-Preacher-Man 2:49 Long Time Woman 3:23 For Once In My Life 2:48
