Dynamo power is now optimized at low-to-medium speeds, reaching 100 lumens at 8km/h (5 MPH,) 375 lumens at 13.5km/h (8 MPH), 600 lumens at 19km/h (10 MPH,) and 750 lumens at 21km/h (13 MPH.) New 'Low Brightness Mode.' A reduced brightness mode for situations where full brightness is not needed, and for easy power sharing between the light and charger. Standlight Time Reduced A supercapacitor, charged while riding, provides about 5 minutes of standlight when stopped. The V1 light can last over 45 minutes, too long for some riders. The standlight can now be turned off with the toggle switch. This charges whether the light is on or off. Now Compatible w/ Supernova Rear Lights w/out Modification Supernova rear lights piggy back off to work and as such as only compatible with Supernova front lights but no more! The Beacon V2 is designed to run with Supernova or any other rear dynamo light.
