Aren't these little White Featherweight 221 machines so dainty and pretty? This one comes with its original cardboard box!!! These original boxes are extremely rare, and this is the only one we have ever seen with a White Featherweight. This machine may have been shipped to the customer originally, or the customer may have wanted to keep the case in excellent condition (they succeeded at that) by keeping it in the box. So few of these original Featherweight boxes have survived, and this one would make a distinguishing addition to any Featherweight collection! Completely serviced, cleaned, polished, electrically inspected, timed, tuned and sampled - rest assured, this White Featherweight 221 will be ready to sew right out of the case. This machine is fitted with its powerful original 110v motor. (Technically and originally named by Singer, the color of this machine is called "Pale Turquoise", however, it is more commonly known as the Celery or White colored Featherweight. But, as you can tell from the lighting, the color changes depending upon its surroundings.) Some of the dating for White Featherweights has become obscure due to incomplete records. The only amount of wear consists of a few small paint chips near the back and on the motor.
