Includes one 3" x 3" square of ash, which has been ebonized. Ash is a durable and lightweight hardwood. Its light color and smooth grain are attractive on their own, and also absor b wood stains very well. Our ash wood is always locally sourced. Ebonized: this sample is finished with a black lacquer finish. The contours of the grain come through, but the tone does not. Show more
