The plastics she melts down to create these earrings include milk cartons, straws, plastic lids, shampoo bottles, formula lids, dish-washing liquid containers, meat trays and more. Every bit of color you see from S.U.M's work is melted plastic. Through much exploration, Jessica has developed a technique where she uses the melted plastic like paint.
