electrelane are a band with a relatively long history - three albums ('rock it to the moon' 2001, 'the power out' 2004, 'axes' 2005 and an e.p. 'i want to be the president' 2002) a s well several singles over six years - yet their consistently uncompromising attitude and ability to release outstandingly fresh and unique records has kept them somewhat of an enigma, with each record feeling like a re-birth and the beginning of something very special.
