Sioux Pink Crape Myrtle lagerstroemia indica sioux Sioux is a wonderful mid sized crape myrtle with excellent form & shape. It forms a very dense small tree. The dark foliage is co ntrasted by masses of pink blooms that usually start in late June, and last well into september. This crape myrtle variety was a Georgia Gold Medal winner in 1996 - and deservedly so.. Smooth, colorful peeling bark provides year-round interest. Good mildew resistance along with excellent heat and drought tolerance make this an excellent choice for landscape accent or container specimen.
