The Sirui VA-5 is a great tripod head, but it was not without its warts. Sirui has taken care of those issues with the VA-5X. The biggest difference is the plating system. While st ill ARCA compatible, Sirui changed the design of their jaws. The VA-5X now features a large, adjustable cam lever and provides better fitment for a variety of 3rd party Arca plates. The SIRUI VA/VH Series Professional Fluid Video Head has a fluid system for smooth panning and tilting.
