The field workshop is held at a 40-acre site in Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island. Participants will characterize soils in multiple test pits with variable soil conditions. We will also reinforce site assessment skills, identification of favorable locations, estimate seasonal high-water table, identify suitable preliminary design concepts. We will also provide opportunities to complete permeability testing using perc test, permeameters and ring infiltrometer. Show more
