Pomacanthus sexstriatus Not Reef Safe The Six Bar Angelfish, also known as the Six-Banded Angelfish, is a striking marine fish noted for its unique and colorful markings. It features a vibrant yellow body with six bold, black vertical bars running along its sides. This eye-catching pattern, combined with its distinctive coloration, makes the Six Bar Angelfish a popular choice for marine aquariums. While generally hardy, it is considered reef safe with caution, as it may occasionally nip at soft corals and small invertebrates, particularly if not adequately fed. Providing a varied diet rich in algae and offering ample live rock for grazing and hiding can help mitigate such behavior. The Six Bar Angelfish thrives in tanks with plenty of hiding spots and a stable environment, making it a beautiful and manageable addition for aquarists with moderate to advanced experience. These fish are for saltwater aquariums only. Due to variations within species, your item may not look identical to the image. Measurements are measured from the tip of the head to end of the tail.
