Kyara is the only aromatic material used in this incense. Seijudo adds no other fragrance and no herbal ingredients, so what reaches you is the scent of kyara and nothing else. The grade is Ryokuyu Kyara (green-oil kyara) from Vietnam, the most costly form of kyara there is, and Seijudo created Enju under the stated aim of making the finest incense stick in Japan. By applying the know-how behind their low-smoke incense, Seijudo set out to reproduce the character of burning the raw kyara wood itself. It is widely known as the Japanese incense with the highest kyara content of any stick made here.
