Sked Basic Rescue System The Sked is an ideal tool to address challenges present when performing evacuations in extreme situations, such as confined space, high angle or technical rescue, as well as traditional land based applications. The unique stretcher design provides patient protection and security beyond a more traditional stretcher or litter. The Sked Rescue System includes necessary accessories for horizontal hoisting (helicopter rescue for example) as well as vertical hoisting (caves or industrial confined spaces). When the patient is packaged the stretcher becomes rigid. The durable plastic provides protection for the patient during extrication through rugged and confined spaces. To minimize footprint while it's not in use, the stretcher can be rolled for storage and stored in a tough cordura backpack (included).
