About SkellyHex™ - Fidget Slider SkellyHex™ is a skeletonized magnetic fidget slider from Magnus Fidgets. “Skelly” refers to material being cut away from the body until only the es sential structure remains, while “Hex” refers to the honeycomb-style hexagonal pockets machined clean through the body. The skeletonized construction is not only visual. Removing material changes the weight distribution, balance, pivot feel, and the way momentum carries through each click. The SkellyHex™ uses a 2 x 4 magnet layout for a true 3-click slide, giving three crisp clicks as the plate travels from one end to the other. It uses 6mm x 2mm N42 magnets, tuned for an effortless but precise one-handed slide. This version is machined from Zirconium. Magnus describes Zirconium as denser than titanium, able to achieve a deep black finish when heat-treated correctly, and premium in hand. The wear plates are also Zirconium, with a hard-wearing and low-friction heat-treated black finish. Show more
