This piece is influenced by Winslow Homer but with a twist - the fish are jumping as high as the sky (a quote from Porgy and Bess). Fishermen have these fish on lines - perhaps they are flying fish. A whimsical take on fishing with a 19th century flair - a color palette is similar to Homer, small boat on choppy seas, fishermen with poles and lines. Atmosphere and a conversation starter for sure! This original design is a creation of artist Andrea Petitto and is printed on durable rigid aluminum. Petitto selected aluminum for her prints because of its clarity and luminosity. No need for a frame, the aluminum print includes a backing to offset it slightly from the wall, and a wire for hanging. All you need is a wall and a hook.
