SkyControl is a handheld radio remote that puts the WasherDrone ground system under the pilot's own hand. Pressure pump, water heater, water source selection and chemical injection rate are all commanded from the flight position, at ranges of up to 1,000 m in line of sight. Nobody has to stand at the machine, so a job that needed two people becomes a job for one. SkyControl is an optional addition: a SkyJet ground unit remains fully operable from its onboard panel, and the receiver can be fitted to units already in service. Key benefits One operator, not two. No second person has to stand at the machine — and the largest recurring cost in a cleaning crew is the crew itself. Control where the work is. Water source and chemical rate are changed the moment the surface calls for it, from where the operator can see the result. 1,000 m of working room. The ground unit can stand where access, water and power allow, not where an operator has to remain within earshot. Two independent dosing channels. Each chemical injection channel is set continuously on its own control, so two products can be run at different rates in the same pass. Safety logic stays on the ground. Interlocks and the safe state on link loss are enforced by the ground unit, not by the remote. Optional and retrofittable. SkyJet stays fully operable from its onboard panel. Add SkyControl at purchase or fit it later. How it works The receiver sits inside the SkyJet ground unit and is wired to the pump, the heater, the inlet manifold valves and the dosing pumps. The handheld transmitter sends operator commands; whether a command is safe to carry out is decided by the ground unit itself. Install: The receiver is fitted inside the SkyJet ground unit — as a factory option or as a service retrofit to a unit already in the field. Command: From the flight position the operator selects the water source, starts the pressure pump and the heater, and sets each chemical injection rate. Protect: The ground unit enforces every interlock and returns the system to a safe state if the radio link is lost. SkyControl commands a SkyJet ground unit and has no function on its own. The ground unit is a separate product and is not included. It does not control the aircraft. SkyControl acts only on the ground system. The drone is flown with its own controller, on its own link, exactly as before. Range is line of sight. The stated range applies with a clear line of sight between transmitter and receiver. Buildings, scaffolding, vehicles and terrain reduce it; verify the working range on site before relying on it. The stop command is not an emergency stop device. It is an operational command sent over a radio link. The hardwired emergency stop on the ground unit remains the safety device and must stay accessible during operation. Status is shown on the ground unit. The link is one-way, so the remote does not display system state. Keep the ground unit's status indication in view, or confirm the state at the unit. Crew size is an operational decision. Reducing the ground crew does not change the flight crew requirements set by your national aviation authority for the operation you are authorised to conduct. Shipping and customs duties are not included.
