Wood inserts are used to help secure rods, wiring, or other threaded components into openings with dissimilar diameters. Because their sides are corrugated, inserts form a snug fit between the lips of an opening and whatever has been run through it. As our wood insert is made from aluminum, it is also particularly resistant to water damage and other forms of weathering.
