The Wooten SlabProof Tech Sock is a cushioned crew work sock built for tradesmen who spend long shifts standing on concrete. Dense terry cushion is mapped under the heel and ball where hard floors hit hardest, and kept thin everywhere else so the sock does not pack out a work boot. The heel and toe are reinforced with double knit nylon at the two points work socks wear through first. The knit is a non wool performance blend, so there is no merino itch and no overheating inside a sealed steel toe boot. No cotton is used, which keeps sweat moving off the skin instead of holding it. Vented mesh panels sit over the instep for airflow. A wide ribbed cuff holds the sock up with distributed pressure rather than one tight band, so it stays up through a full shift without leaving a red ring on the calf. A deep heel pocket, a back pull tab and an arch lock band keep the foot from sliding inside the boot. Crew height. Black. Available in US men's sizes M (5 to 7), L (8 to 10) and XL (11 to 13).
