When the hotel bar chatter leads to job titles, you say ‘Vice President of Sales’ instead of ‘Regional Sales Manager’ because, who knows, someday you might be. Are you a big deal? Maybe, or maybe not, but at this moment in time, at this lame conference, you are treated as if you are, which means the universe is practically begging you to be a poseur.
