The sand mimics real sand, working nicely as a surface dressing in finer-textured and natural look. The L-Series sand also works as a soil additive, helping to improve drainage and aeration in clay or compacted soils. Slate is a metamorphic rock that is primarily made up of quartz, illite, and chlorite, which can account for up to 95% of its composition.
