Inspired by Ephesians 5:14 where Paul emphasizes Christians and the wicked to wake up and realize we should not walk in darkness, but in the light of God. Christians are children of light in stark contrast from the sons of disobedience (Eph 5:6). Christ is the light of the world, the true light and without Him we walk in darkness. Romans 13:11 ESV - Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.Isaiah 51:17 ESV- Wake yourself, wake yourself, stand up, O Jerusalem, you who have drunk from the hand of the Lord the cup of his wrath, who have drunk to the dregsthe bowl, the cup of staggering.
