This low, minimalist platter has been turned from salvaged Salmon Arm (BC) ash. It has been torched using the Yakisugi technique and in certain spots, the flames have been left to burn unabashedly, leaving it oh so subtly abstract. Since it is finished with a food safe oil it could be used for fruit, however due to the texture and nature of this bowl, I would suggest using it for decor or display only. Dimensions: 14.75 inches in diameter x 1.5 inches tall Finished on the bottom with a signature brass coin. This bowl is not watertight and is intended for decorative use.
