The Cooper Throw was designed by Finland-based artist Lotta Maija for Slowdown Studio. Lotta works in saturated colour, turning flowers and fruit into bold, flattened, playful compositions. This design came from a Finnish summer spent biking around the city, photographing flowers in full bloom and storing them up against the darker months ahead. Built from flat, stacked shapes like a collage, each one solid-coloured with a bold outline, it's set against a dusty pink background with pops of mustard yellow, plum, orange, and sage green. Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form. Slowdown Studio woven blankets are crafted with care from recycled cotton, making them a sustainable and eco-friendly addition to any home. Woven in the USA, the lightweight material is perfect for using as a couch cover, bed cover, picnic rug, or wall art. Transform any space with this versatile and stylish throw. Materials: 100% cotton (25% recycled). Size: 54" x 70" (137cm x 178cm). Made in the USA. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Dry on a cool cycle or line dry.
