Tri-Art Gesso Sludge is made from recycled pigments harvested from our washing process. It is an excellent barrier ground with the same flexibility, strength, and adhesion qualitie s as a finest grade gesso. Each batch will vary in tint and granular content. Use it as an economical gesso and enjoy the satisfaction of helping the environment. Sludge Gesso is an economical, eco-minded ground made from reprocessed pigment solids, giving a muted, neutral base with subtle tooth. Use it in place of traditional white gesso when you want a soft grey underpainting and a slightly textured surface that suits both acrylic and mixed media work. Show more
