For this pattern it is recommended to use knit fabric that has a 2 or 4 way stretch with a minimum of 30% and not more than 75% stretch. Cotton/Lycra, Jersey, interlock, stretch velour, stretch terry, some light fleece. Poly spandex blends can be used, along with rib knits or other super stretchy knits, but the garment will appear and feel larger in those fabrics due to stretch percentage. Bands/binding require a rib knit or stretch knit with a minimum of 75% stretch and good recovery.
