Description & Function: SlurrySMART HDD is designed to function as an all-in-one drilling polymer and forms a synthetic membrane on the sidewalls of the bore during drilling that controls loss of fluid to the formation, increases lubrication and reduces bit-balling at the cutting interface. SlurrySMART HDD is designed to be a cost effective replacement for bentonite in the majority of soil formations. One, 2 pound jar of SlurrySMART is designed to treat a standard 500 gallon mix tank and replaces six to eight 50 pound sacks of bentonite. This provides a much-simplified mixing process as well as reduced freight costs and need for storage. All KB polymer systems are environmentally friendly and can be discharged with the proper permitting.
