The SM5705R Charging IC is a Sub PMIC (power supervisor) chip from Silicon Mitus, built for Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016), A5 (2016), A7 (2016), A8, J5, C5, C7 and C9000 boards. Technic ians use this IC to fix charging issue, dead after flash, and slow-charging faults where the board shows no response from the charging path.
