Item Name: Small Bicones SKU: CGB-BR-19 Description: Small bicones are graphite bicone forming tools with multiple cavity sizes, used to shape hot glass into consistent bicone forms. The graphite construction provides a smooth working surface that resists sticking and handles repeated heating and cooling cycles during lampworking. These are especially useful when you need repeatable geometry for components like bicone beads, spacers, and small sculptural elements where symmetry and clean tapers matter. How it is used: Preheat the graphite near the top of the kiln or in a gentle flame to reduce thermal shock Gather a small amount of molten glass and begin forming a rough preform Press and rotate the hot glass into the selected cavity to establish the bicone shape Reheat as needed and repeat light presses to refine symmetry and surface finish Use the finished bicone as a bead, spacer, or component for larger assemblies Dimensions: Cavity sizes in millimeters: 9mm x 25mm 10mm x 30mm 11mm x 35mm
