These smaller versions of our stone discs make lovely, unusual ornaments. They are known as 'bi' (pronounced 'bee') in Chinese and are made from jade or other stone, with a black m etal stand. The outer ring and central hole symbolise heaven and earth, and they are thought to bring happiness and peace into the home.
