Inspired to capture the unique silhouette of the Cota Tinctoria or 'Dyers Chamomile' flower. This framed piece is made with silk noil (raw silk) fabric that was dyed with indigo. T hen using pigment extracted from chamomile flowers to make printing ink, the silhouette from chamomile flowers is then stamped onto the fabric and framed out with maple wood.
