The Small Cricket Cage is a 20 quarts, 16" Long x 11" Wide x 11" High Gasket Lined Plastic Storage Tote that has been modified to be an effective habitat for the storage of banded crickets. The Small Cricket Cage has been modified to provide the necessary ventilation and security for maintaining banded crickets for the entirety of their lifecycle. This insect habitat has 2 - 2" air vents installed with added appropriate screening. The tops of the tote's walls have been lined with 2" of tape that the crickets will be unable to cling to. A foam gasket liner runs the periphery of the lid to create an effective seal between the tote and corresponding lid. The Small Cricket Cage can house up to: 4,000 Newborn Pinhead to 1/8" live banded crickets; 2,000 1/4" to 3/8" feeder crickets; 500 1/2" banded crickets; 500 5/8" live crickets; or, 250 3/4" to Adult banded feeder crickets. If the Small Cricket Cage is used for maintaining crickets smaller than 1/4" in length, it is recommended that the air vents be covered with a breathable tape to prevent escapes. This insect cage is also a great habitat for use as a butterfly house.
