These hoops are made out of sterling silver, 14kt yellow gold-filled and 14kt rose gold-filled wire. The wire that I use is 18 gauge wire, it is a little thicker than the regular(2 0 gauge) ear wire. If you have new ear piercings please leave me a note, I will make it in regular 20 gauge wire for you to avoid the irritations.
