Peperomia, a decorative tropical house plant. Peperomia leaves have a lovely veining pattern and are hardy enough to cast with all the dimension and detail on both sides. Cast from the actual plant in solid recycled metals, preserving the unique nature of each plant to make truly one-of-a-kind jewelry. The pendants measure approximately 1 1/ 2" long and hang on fine chain, perfect for layering. A variety of metals and chain lengths are available. Through the wonder of nature and the artist’s spin on the lost wax casting process, each piece is unique. The plant parts are put into a wet plaster then the plaster mold goes into a kiln for 8+ hours, burning out the plant material to create a mold.
