First decide if you are going to use a weight to keep your bait on the bottom or if you are going to use a balloon or float. If you are going to use a weight attach to your mainline then tie your mainline to the swivel to the top of the rig. (Usually we recommend just using a slip on style weight.) (If using a balloon or float attach after you tie to the top swivel on the rig.) Pick out your favorite bait and hook on to the hook. We recommend using a hardy bait that will stay on the hook.
