Small Tansu style chest, traditionally used to store items of clothing, i.e. kimonos, etc. Smaller ones were usually stacked on top of larger ones, or just placed on the floor. No provenance available. Features open storage compartment with 2 hinged doors and 3 small drawers for jewellery, mementos, etc. 62w x 38d x 54h (cm). Compact and lightweight. Excellent condition. Cleaned and polished. Other items shown are not included. Use in the bedroom or even in the loungeroom as a small side table. Pick up from our Rowville workshop weekdays between 10am and 4pm or Saturdays by arrangement. Delivery can be arranged at buyer's expense. *All Vintage Upcycle pieces have lived a life prior and are not in as new condition. Always presume there will be marks and defects with age and use.
